R&B singer Matt B recently released his new single, “Ima Say It,” a confessional written during the pandemic that speaks to the importance of open communication with a partner. Through the song’s flirty lyrics, Matt B truly encapsulates the listener in his feelings as he makes a valiant effort to be open and transparent instead of bottling up his emotions.

“Ima Say It” is the latest single from Matt B following a string of recent releases including “One & Only” featuring Nigerian artist Oxlade, a re-release of his 2018 fan favorite track “Losing You,” and the powerful and vibrant “Gimme Love” which features award-winning Ugandan superstar Eddy Kenzo whose music video rapidly amassed over 4 million views across platforms. Over his career, Matt B has built a global fanbase with his chart-topping singles and albums, garnering over 8 million global streams. His debut and sophomore albums went to #1 on the iTunes R&B Charts following their releases in Japan and he continued to release music overseas with his 2018 EP, RISE, produced by GRAMMY-Award Winning Producer Bryan-Michael Cox (Mariah Carey, Usher, Mary J. Blige). Matt B’s 2021 debut US album, EDEN, featured production from Cox as well as Tricky Stewart (Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Rihanna), and landed Top 40 on Billboard’s R&B Albums Chart, Digital Albums, Heatseekers, and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
