Los Angeles native DJ Politik is known for creating memories that last a lifetime through his impeccable curation of the songs that define us. With a natural ability to connect with clients, collaborators and fans alike, DJ Politik (Paul Purman) has worked with hospitality giants, Fortune 500 companies, and luxury brands, to A-list celebrities, artists, and business magnates.
Politik (Paul Purman) is proudly expanding his role as part of the “1942 Crew” with a new creative partnership between him and Don Julio Tequila. The DJ, producer, and luxury tequila ambassador will be spearheading the brand’s music-driven content, starting with a docu-series titled “Beyond The Booth.” The series will give fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access into the studio where he will collaborate and interview industry-leading songwriters and producers.
In Politik’s first filmed feature in partnership with Don Julio 1942, he sits down with GRAMMY nominated, multi-platinum songwriter Kaine to discuss the making of hits like Doja Cat’s “Best Friend” while they sip on luxury tequila.
Much like the expertly-aged flavor of Don Julio 1942, DJ Politik emphasizes that the best things take time, as evidenced by his own storied artistic career that’s led him to cross paths with Post Malone, The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars, and more. Next up for Politik is an official remix of Summer Walker and SZA’s R&B smash “No Love”. Crafting a remix that’s consistent with the trademark energy the Los Angeles-based producer and DJ has become known for, exuberant synth melodies weave through the enticing chopped vocals of the anthemic track, allowing Politik to showcase his ear for club-ready grooves that get the whole dance floor moving.
