We had the pleasure of interviewing Adam Mac over Zoom video!
LGBTQ+ country singer/songwriter Adam Mac is making waves in the industry for his on-of-a-kind artistry. With previous support from CMT and People, he recently released his sophomore album Disco Cowboy.
The album is all about Adam's personal journey of self-discovery not only as an artist, but as a queer man in the country genre. The 16-song collection continues to showcase Adam's commitment to making the country music genre a safe and welcoming space for all. From synths and horns to the pedal steel, Adam's fun-loving and uplifting spirit is prevalent from start to finish. You can confidentially preview it below.
The music video for the title track “Disco Cowboy,” premiered exclusively with CMT and went on to take the No. 1 spot on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown for 4 weeks. Adam posted a snippet of his unreleased song “Boy Like Me” that received over 200K views in less than 24 hours on Tiktok.
He also recently performed at the first ever LGBTQ+ showcase, Country Proud, at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
