Singer and songwriter
Jonah Kagen is a 23-year-old singer and songwriter hailing from Savannah, Georgia. He took up guitar at the age of six, diving deep into the instrument’s technical aspects after his jazz musician grandfather showed him performance videos. He further found inspiration in the music of guitarist Andy McKee, whose finger-style technique lit a creative fire within.
Embodying contrast, Jonah Kagen approaches the guitar with the instinctual know-how of a jazz virtuoso, but also pens the kinds of lyrics that turn into festival singalongs. His music has already amassed 200 million streams and 2.6 million monthly listeners. He recently wrapped up his sold-out headline tour and a support run with Phillip Phillips. He has previously toured with Maisie Peters and Anson Seabra as well.
His sophomore EP, 'The Roads,' will be out on December 1st on Arista Records. The EP’s title track, “The Roads,” has had recent momentum climbing at US Triple-A radio, with support across 15+ stations and counting, and received a stamp of approval from Zach Bryan.
