Music. Fashion. Influence. 3Fortiori evolve as 360-degree entertainers whose songs, style, and spirit blur boundaries and blaze a new trail. The Broward County, FL duo—Wyatt and Feek—channel the chemistry of a lifelong friendship into a dynamic and diverse approach to pop and hip-hop. Racking up 30 million-plus total streams independently and attracting a diehard following, the group welcome listeners into an equally wild and wonderful world on their 2022 debut under NARS Music Group [NMG], the label co-founded by legendary engineer Marcella Araica and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Danja [Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado].
“We want to entertain across every medium possible,” exclaims Wyatt. “3Fortiori is everything. It’s music, it’s fashion, and it’s even acting someday. We’re giving you the full picture and showing our personalities. That’s our way to be a part of the culture.”
The boys took the first step on this path after initially meeting back in middle school. As the story goes, Wyatt played basketball with Feek’s uncle, and Wyatt and Feek ended up hitting it off and becoming friends. At first, they made music purely for fun. In 2017, they uploaded “Dog Food Freestyle” [feat. Fixaveli] to Soundcloud and caught fire right out of the gate. “I Know” and “Complicated” only increased the buzz around them before “Lasey” eventually exploded. Initially, they shared a TikTok video entitled “How To Make A Song” with the music for “Lasey.” It popped off on the platform and went on to post up 17.2 million plays on Soundcloud. The pair struck a perfect balance between emotionally tuned in and turned up.
“We’re a blend of pop and hip-hop,” adds Feek. “We bounce back and forth between those genres. We take what we do very seriously, but we’re having fun.”
In 2020, they landed a deal with NMG and hit Dream Asylum Studios in South Florida with Danja behind the board. On the tracks, Wyatt and Feek lock into a volley of hypnotic verses and drop hooks with knockout power, fusing their distinct vibes with focus and fire.
“The whole NMG camp has helped us tap into our sound at a higher level,” adds Wyatt. “We’ve elevated everything. The records we’re making are what we always wanted 3Fortiori to be.”
In many ways, the name hints at the scope of their music. While working at a restaurant, Feek noticed the word “Fortiori” in his coworker’s homework, and he immediately inquired as to its meaning…
“Fortiori means ‘the stronger of’. I always felt drawn to it,” he goes on “We added “3” to it, because there are three levels of entertainment we’re a part of—music, fashion, and acting.”
In the end, 3Fortiori encase a message within everything they do.
“It’s okay to be yourself,” Wyatt leaves off. “Whether it’s a fun song or a flex song, we try to portray you don’t have to fake anything to get where you want in life. Our career is just about being real and who we are. We want to empower you to be yourself.”
“I hope you feel something when you listen to us,” Feek concludes. “We’re giving you honest emotions, so you can hopefully connect.”
