Living in Los Angeles, California Eli starts taking piano lessons when he was six. When he was 14 he started realizing that he felt scared and sad all the time, then he found a band called My Chemical Romance that told him it was okay to feel that way. Punk rock became his
life and he started writing songs because he probably needed somewhere to put all the worry.
A mix from many different artists from Smashing Pumpkins, 100 gecs, Steven Sondheim musicals, Neutral Milk Hotel, Lil Peep, Classicalmusic, Weezer. He started working with Katie Pearlman as songwriter, and Ethan Gruska as a producer.
The record’s about feeling alone, like the world is falling apart, and heartbreak.
